Carsen Gray is a Singer-Songwriter of Haida Indigenous and mixed descent. Recognized for her soulful lyrics, captivating voice, and an energetic sound, she released her debut self-titled album back in 2017. She quickly picked up accolades including "Best New Artist", as presented by SiriusXM, at the Indigenous Music Awards (IMA). "Let it go" is a song about holding onto feelings for a past lover, and the longing to forgive and forget despite a relationship broken beyond repair.
