In his own unique brand he called “conscious acoustic rock”, Chris Chavez combines emotional folk, acoustic rock and eastern influences in the vain of Richie Havens, Ben Harper and Led Zeppelin. A native son of New Mexico, Chris relocated to London after completing college and quickly gained the attention of both audiences and iconic BBC radio personalities. It has always been Chris’ desire to blend spiritual lessons of everyday life with music. Chris explains about his single "Jealousy": "Anyone who has suffered from jealousy or has been on the receiving end of this intense fear-driven emotion will know: jealousy is hard! This song was me working through my own jealous moments and discovering that at its root, jealousy stems from the need of “affirmation of connection” and that “just a hug will save me from the spinning hell that’s in my mind!” Jealousy is hard!"
