I Do Not Know This Man is a 15 track album made in 1973 by Frenchwoman Brigitte Fontaine and her Algerian husband/collaborator Areski Belkacem, who have worked together on and off since the late '60s. In the course of her 30-year career, Brigitte Fontaine has consistently defied critics' attempts to pigeon-hole her.
