In 2010 Austin New Music Co-op commissioned and premiered two new works from composers Michael Pisaro and Radu Malfatti. Both artists a re associated with the Wandelweiser group of composers. Recently, Alex Ross wrote a piece about Wandelweiser in the The New Yorker. On September 25th, Austin New Music Co-op performed the two pieces again at the Blanton Museum of Art and released a studio recording of the music on CD in letterpress printed packaging.
