March 2019, Iceland, Catartsis & Ida traverse vast expanses of snow and ice. All ears with microphones in hand, they fade in a multitude of topographies guided by the acoustic subtleties of a melting world. "Ice Collage" lures us into an Arctic fog swollen by the uncanny impression of geo-presences. Recordings of thawing landscapes, lithic crumblings, and breathing geothermal soils animate the 3 tracks of the EP into a blend of bass and ambient music.
