I've still got a ways to go is Will Newman's most recent outing as he builds up to his sophomore album expected this summer. The song tackles will's battle with PTSD, chronic pain and suicidality. The song takes strength from seeing where you were and where you want to be - whilst acknowledging that no one is ever perfect or finished in their self project. The track has soaring LANY-esque guitar parts, beautiful piano pieces and touches of synth from bands like joan and Valley. Nik Sudan, one of Will's most recent collaborators, features on the track and adds a perfect touch to the beautiful, soaring ending to the song.
