The first full-length album "How to Kill the Cat" First, a disclaimer: I love my cats and I would never kill any cat nor support the killing of cats! I always thought it’s not curiosity that kills the cat; it’s the traps it leads to that does the job, which is exactly what this album is about: the hope, dreams, bubbles, fantasies, expectations, and how you’re often snapped back to reality, crestfallen. It’s about my struggle between the pull of desire and disappointments. On another level, this album is also quite literally about death, which is a culturally tabooed topic and one that I have a hard time dealing with. It’s about forgetting, remembering, fear for the future, fighting shadows from your past, and keeping intangible memories alive through art and stories.
