Honeymoon at Cold Hollow is a short film directed by US auteur Nat Rovit. It captures the magic of discovering a reel of never-before-seen celluloid unspooling in a desolate, haunted movie palace. A relic of bygone horror and the true grindhouse experience! Si Begg and Deadly Avenger were commissioned to compose something that would capture all that is beautiful and gnarly of 1970s low budget horror scores. Using vintage synths and acoustic gear they created a score that is equal parts John Carpenter, Goblin, Wendy Carlos and Radiophonic Workshop. As well as winning best film at the Nightmares Film Festival in the US it was also an official selection for Seattle International Film Festival, Salem Horror Fest, Aesthetica Short Film Festival and many others.
