The artist explains “This song deals with debt in any form, whether it be emotional, monetary, physical or time, someone has taken something from us at one time or another. It deals with the open bitterness that can be seen across social media by those with wounds/debt, leading to barbed remarks such as “aren’t you so pretty”.
