Reminiscent of seventies sun-kissed California with a Fleetwood Mac vibe, “Go to the Sun” reflects a mental state of Sarah Klang’s mind where she went from being in a dark place to one of hope. After therapy for childhood trauma, Klang struggled with PTSD. “This song represents going to better places be it in your mind or physically travelling to those places,” she explains. “It’s about escaping from the day-to-day and finding your way,” she says, which is one of the most personal she’s ever written.
