“‘Ghost Town Road’ is the third studio album by Smallpools where the band takes notes from their previous work, acknowledging and honoring the past while optimistically looking ahead. Written and recorded by the band mostly at guitarist Michael Kamerman’s Los Angeles home studio with Kamerman taking the producer helm. Returning to their LA roots for a majority of the writing, the band invited a select few friends into the writing process on a handful of tracks, Colin CreeV (Third Eye Blind) and Mitchy Collins (lovelytheband). Smallpools also spent time at The Owl Studios in Nashville to put the finishing touches on Ghost Town Road. The album is mixed by flor’s Dylan Bauld (MisterWives, Halsey, Lights) and mastered by Matthew Wolk.
