In partnership with longtime collaborators Luke Niccoli and Bre Kennedy, Maui-born songbird Lily Meola brings out her pop-country side in “Gasoline” with her warm vocals and honest narrations on yearning to save a relationship. The second single off her upcoming EP, “Heartbreak Rodeo” proves to be a sweet song after first listen, but reveals itself as a song packed with emotion and loaded with feelings of desire and longing. “This song is about wishing there was a quick fix remedy for when you’re having relationship troubles. Like taking Advil for a headache, or feeding yourself when you’re hangry. Wouldn’t it be so sweet if you could just pull up to a gas station and fill up your heart with love?” Meola inquires.
