Forgiving Spree was written at the end of the writing period for the album. It is a song about moving on, real deep lasting change and the act of forgiveness as a tool to achieve it. The grudges we carry, they become the end of us all; It's about the evolving state of being present being all we have - and making the most of it, regardless of any pride we get caught up in.
