‘First Day of My Life’ was one of my favourite songs a decade ago and a friend of mine asked me to sing it at their wedding. I remember recording this little voice memo to send to them so they could approve it before the ceremony and make sure the vibe was right. I hadn’t played the song much and just hit record on my phone to send this simple version, it’s raw and real and I’ve always loved the idea of getting it out into the world.
