Uula Comments (ENG): One night I woke up after dreaming about my friend trying to search for a place where he could feel safe and calm. He's suffered discrimination because of his origins and has had to fight for acceptance. I just grabbed my guitar and the main riff of the song flowed out. On the next practise sessions we composed and arranged the verse and the chorus around the main riff. After Anssi composed a powerful riff to the end of the song it was quite ready. I told about my dream to Jules and asked him to write lyrics based on it about the fear and anxiety that is targeted towards people around the world who have to flee from their homes to find a place where they could live in peace and be accepted no matter their origin, gender or cultural background. Jules comments (ENG): Unfortunately our societies are bullied by populist fearmongers who try to prevent people to learn and understand bigger problems and therefore seek zero solutions to them or offer “easy fixes” to complicated issues. Usually they have zero experience in what it means to be scared or what real need feels like. They have no idea about what it means to run away from your home and leave everything behind. They are incapable of putting themselves in someone else's position and that's why the fear they spit out is solely egoistic ignorance rambling. A human being generally wants good for others. But too much ignorance and indifference feed the lack of empathy that would allow one to see things through someone else's eyes. It's one of the biggest problems in our social dialogue today in my opinion.
