Evening Bell is the 5th release of Evgeny Grinko's new album 'Winter Moonlight'. "During my time in Moscow I lived near a church. We would frequently hear the sound of the bells through our open windows. This song is an interpretation of that sound. The composition came, as many of my compositions do, from a moment of freeform improvisation at the piano. Once it had been recorded on solo piano, I felt a few flourishes with the synthesizer would really bring the track to life. Do you notice them as much as I do?? For whatever reason I could not locate exactly the sound I needed on the synthesizer. We did take after take after take. What we didn’t use for Evening Bell ultimately became the outro to Winter Moonlight."
