Two relentless, six minute powerhouses with Spanish stings in the tail and a touch of tech expertise commemorate the occasion, with the festival knowhow of Agus O and the rhythm and groove of Manu Soto ready to rock booths in a blaze of sweaty, bassy, funky house glory. A shot to savour, the only way is up on ‘Down It’, a commotion of lively percussion rattling every available surface, and a bass throb consuming big rooms from top to bottom. Setting the foundation for some international hip-house, vocals doing call & response drills to get crowds swinging back and forth, the track unlocks computer game freak-outs along the way. The same can be said for the sneakily hypnotic ‘Check Out’ – no-time-to-waste, deep house with plenty of clout, and more rap attitude on the vocals, making the dancefloor a fizzing mass of funky lava.
