Following two succesful ambient releases in his own name, and a collaboration with Ulrich Schnauss, Jonas Munk returns with some of his finest ambient work ever. The title track, Dawn Layer, sees Munk return to the summery sound he's known for. It's a track that engulfs the listener in warmth. Perfect for chilling out on a quiet summer day or for falling asleep. The two other tracks, "Canopy" and "At a Distance", has a more outdoorsy feel to them, evoking the feeling of wandering through a landscape at dusk, or watching the ocean.
