Dylan Dunlap leaves his bedroom for a new body of work that has been masterfully crafted with some of Los Angeles’ top players. Inspired by albums like Coldplay’s Parachutes, Dunlap decided to take a studio-forward, band-driven approach to his new batch of songs and enlisted famed mixer Michael Brauer, the very person who mixed Parachutes, as well as music by John Mayer, Dean Lewis and James Bay. “Common Denominator” tells the raw and ugly truth of what it’s like to live with autism, and to lose someone while wrestling to believe you’re worthy of loving.
