"Come Down" was written in early 2019, shortly after Bayonne's father's cancer diagnoses. At that time, he was also going through a very difficult breakup. The track reflects on a conversation between Roger and his partner during a really distressed time, where they did not know if they were going to continue their relationship. The abrasive lyrics, alarming synthesizers, and exasperation captured in the song reflects the stressful period from which the song was born. Now, Bayonne has reimagined "Come Down" with a full orchestra, adding depth and character to the already captivating track.
