World Canvas is proud to present a debut release ‘Clouded Vision’ by Helsinki-based producer Softie (Ossi Kolehmainen). Over the course of the past years Softie has been recognised by his explosive, percussion-heavy dj-sets and original productions, recently additionally as a part of the conceptual event organising collective Post Human Dance. On his debut release Softie presents four songs which encapsulate the ideas of desolate and lush soundscapes & precise percussive and layered rhythms. The piece forming from this aesthetic interaction carries a sense of melancholy and shattering beauty. ‘Clouded Vision’ embodies the suspension of Kolehmainen’s previous works' worlds in the fields of explorative ambient and multifaceted dance music, as well as the elegance of these worlds coming together as a whole.
