Bullhorn II is the successor of 'Bullhorn' (2019), the first solo-album Wouter Planteijdt recorded with drummer Mischa Porte and Gerco Aerts on double bass. Though in general the new material can again be described as Americana, Bullhorn II sees an array of guest appearances, causing the album to be richer of sound and texture than the previous one. Within the Dutch music community Planteijdt time and again shows craftsmanship and a unique talent for melancholy and introspective songwriting.
