"When i first got into vaporwave one of the first big artists I discovered was catcorp and his album oasys, it blew my mind then i fell into the mallsoft rabbit hole with albums like Kmart 1989 - 1992 by powerpcme, Vacant places by Hantasi and Yes We're Open by groceries along with many many more. It's because of this that to this day mallsoft remains one of my favorite vaporwave subgenre". 2.What was your inspiration to make Bienvenue Au Carrefour? "My main inspiration for this album was that I wanted to do Quebec based mallsoft and carrefour Laval is a well known mall in Quebec so I based the album name on this one, Also Kenmore classic works have been a big inspiration for me!" 3. Could you tell us a little about that nice album cover? (where that interior is from?) "That album cover was a fountain that was in Carrefour Laval in the 70s" 4. If you could go to one mall for the rest of your life what mall would it be? "Oooh that ones a hard question But i would probably say Eaton Center in Toronto" 5. Whats your favorite media format to listen to your music collection? I Started by collecting vinyls but I slowly began collecting more and more tapes since they're cheaper and I think they're the perfect format for vaporwave now. So I'd say tapes right now even though I love vinyls.
