A couple of years ago, I was driving in the car with my Labradors to take them for a walk. It was a week before Valentine’s Day and I said to myself” I think I’ll write a Valentine song!” There have been few songs ever written that speak of Valentines. A little melody for the verse came to me while driving, so I quickly pressed “record” on my smartphone and started to sing. As we walked along the nature path, the rest of the song seemed to fall into place. It’s unexplainable how these songs come out of thin air. Our Labradors were definitely an inspiration because they open your heart so you can feel more love.
