The upbeat pop-electro-rock-infusion tells about regaining the inspiration and strength – and about her new community “Amplify Her”. It’s about claiming the superpower back. It’s about accepting who you are. It’s about winning against the pressure that we put on ourselves to be everything we need to be. “Be Her”, the new song of the singer-songwriter Andrea Dee from London, shines bright above all other songs. The upbeat pop-electro-rock-infusion will be released on 24th March. ¬And it makes you want to dance to throw all pressure you carry away. What you hear is a new Andrea Dee. The song is up-tempo, accentuated by synthesizers, guitar and drums. It’s very energetic, melodic and a bit rap at the same time. “Be Her” says with full heart and soul “Be Her. Set me free!” What’s behind the song? It’s a very personal one. “After the release of my album ,Truth & Dare’ and the creation of ,Truth & Dare: The immersive concert’, I felt like I gave it all to succeed, expecting that something from all that work would come out of it and nothing. Nobody came knocking on the door”, says Andrea Dee. It was hard for her. She lost her strength, her inspiration to push forward. She wished to have a place to go, where people would understand her and she would understand them. But there wasn’t a community like that. So Andrea Dee created “Amplify Her”, monthly live events that support women in the music industry. The new song “Be Her” tells about this success. “Being surrounded by incredible women that are going through the same things as me, is so rewarding, and helped me claim my power back and the reason why all of this is worth it!” resumes Andrea Dee. “The song is about accepting who you are.
