DJ R. - artist, composer & DJ was influenced by HipHop culture in the early 90s. A time when MTV YO! Raps were part of everyday life. Clothes by Karl Kani, boots by Timbaland and a mixtape in the Walkman. As a DJ, his focus was always on the instruments and their combination. For him personally, it was always important to be able to listen to a song without vocals and still have fun with it. This has always been his aim when composing a new track. This album implies exactly this fascinating feeling of listening to an instrumental without losing the fun of it. It was created to entertain the listener and inspire other artists. The sound is a mixture of old sounds and new influences as well as elements from different cultures.
