Asking 4 A Friend

Asking 4 A Friend

Hailing from Boston, MA, Bermuda Search Party are an indie rock band made up of Berkley dropouts who foster community and inclusion in their music and live shows. Formally, known as The Q-Tip Bandits, they’ve seen their fanbase growing in their homebase of Massachusetts and the US with an engaged group of core fans leading the way. They are all multi-instrumentalists, drawn to music from a young age and incorporate their innate musicality and love for art into their songs. They've toured across the US and played with Nettwerk artists such as Sammy Rae & the Friends and Meltt as well as playing festivals such as Boston Calling and Green River Festival. ‘Asking 4 A Friend’ is a reminder to be present in the moment — no one’s quite as young as they used to be, so make this moment count and find someone to share it with. If it all fades away, will you have a friend to share it with? We’re all striving for connection, and sometimes what we find isn’t what we thought it would be, but we keep striving for it anyway. The song explores themes of loneliness and companionship, with an upbeat groove and a nostalgic melody. The track was recorded in Los Angeles with Eric Palmquist, known for his work with Tate McRae, half•alive, and Bad Suns.
