關於Veeze

Karon Vantrees Malcolm (born February 28, 1995), known profesionally as Veeze, is a rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Before rap, Veeze originally had aspirations of being an NBA guard, but had since turned his attention on pursuing a career on making music. In an interview with The Fader, he stated that he started off his career as a new player in Detroit’s rap scene. Veeze first attempted rapping in 2019, to which he gained attention during the summer of 2019 with his breakout single “Itself” featuring DT Tha Kidd and WTM Scoob. Since then, a lot of remixes of the songs were later recorded due to the song’s success. The following month, Veeze released his second breakout single “Rusty,” in which Babyface Rae paid for Veeze’s first music video after seeing how the song took off locally in the Detroit rap scene. That same time, Veeze decided to take his career seriously. On September 27, 2019, Veeze released his debut mixtape Navy Wavy, to which it featured the previously mentioned singles. Throughout 2020 and 2022, Veeze would continue to release a slew of singles and would continue to collaborate with a wide variety of artists, such as Ballout, Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, Lil Yachty, and a lot more. “U-Digg,” the Lil Baby and 42 Dugg-accompanied track would give Veeze his first and only Billboard Hot 100 appearance as the song would debut and peak at #52 on the charts. Entering into 2023, Veeze would enter himself into the mainstream with the song “GOMD,” after the song went viral on social media platforms, earning itself a remix with Lil Uzi Vert. Since the success of “GOMD,” Veeze would launch a new record label called Navy Wavy, named after his debut mixtape, in a partnership with Warner Records. On June 27, 2023, Veeze would release his debut studio album, Ganger, to which it went on to debut and peak at #97 on the Billboard 200. He would then release the deluxe version of Ganger on October 13, 2023.
