Saba Alizâdeh is an Iranian electronic, ambient, electroacoustic and classical Persian music composer and musician who plays the Kamancheh. He is the son of the world renowned Sound artist/Instrumentalist/Composer based in Tehran Saba brings from no-input mixer, modular synth, tape, Laptop and other effect pedals to his pallet of sounds. He is a virtuoso on Kamancheh (Persian spike fiddle). Alizadeh holds an MFA in music fro Calarts. He has released With Karlrecords(Berlin) and 30m records (Hamburg). Has taken part in several exhibitions in Tehran such as “Light and Soil” at Silk Road Gallery in 2012, “Obligatory Military Service” at Mohsen Gallery in 2010, and “Appropriation Allowed” at Aaran Gallery in 2009. In 2010 he contributed to the exhibitions “One day” at Intersection for the Art in San Francisco and “Am Not Half the Man I Used to Be” at Dar Al Funoon Gallery in Kuwait.
