HWLS is the Grammy nominated music project of Australian producer Justin Elwin. With three critically praised EPs released independently plus 2 EPs out on Future Classic. His remix contributions for artists Joji, Tokimonsta, Dua Saleh, Seekae, Hermitude, Petit Biscuit, UZ and many other artists have always struck an ear with fans. HWLS has toured the world playing a range of top tier venues and sharing the stage with the likes of Flume, Ta-ku, Mura Masa and more. The versatile producer has provided production credits for Denzel Curry, Ty Dolla $ign, Jaden Smith, Trapo, A$AP Rocky, Vic Mensa, Belly and collaborative production works with artists Flume, Esta, Losco, Shockone, Jon Casey, Noah Breakfast, FnZ, Lakim, B.Lewis and many more. Since humble beginnings in the prime of turntablist culture, HWLS used this time to explore different genres of music and further his production skills and Dj ability. This has taken HWLS to play major festivals, clubs and arenas all across the world and providing a bag of dj mixes online with notable appearances on Diplo & Friends, RinseFM UK & France, Triple J mix up and a couple of Boiler Room appearances. HWLS wide range in production, Dj experience and music knowledge has evolved him through the many sliding doors of music patterns and genres while still staying true to his preferred sound.
