Eidola is Andrew Michael Wells (vocals), Sergio Medina (guitar), Matthew Dommer (vocals/guitar), Matthew Hansen (drums), Skylar Caporicci (guitar), and Reese Ortenberg (bass). The progressive post-hardcore band, formed in 2011 Salt Lake City, are known for their complex compositions, thought-provoking lyrics, and dynamic live performances. On “Eviscerate”, their most recent album, Punk News said “What’s unusual about Eidola is their ability to wield melody with such obvious talent, but to twin it with heaviness and complexity…”, Metal Injection noted the band’s knack for “technical magic and catchy ass melodies”, and Under The Radar said the new collection “is undoubtedly some of their best work”.
