I am D1 (of Aquavibe)... I make music, from many angles. My music has been heard on TV shows, commercials, movie soundtracks, video games, and MANY YouTube videos :)
What's in a name?
Well, I'm from a band called Aquavibe. Myself and one other band member share the same first name with the initial "D", so to differentiate between us, another one of our band members added numbers to our initials. And well, I'm the leader of the band, so I got the "1"...

Music is my life. Ever since grade school, I've been practicing/playing/creating music. I started on guitar then moved to drums and then went to whatever else I could get my hands on (keyboard, bass, flute, vibraphone, turntables, etc). I learned everything by ear, on my own. I created the band Aquavibe in which I played the role of leader, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, etc. This wound up landing me the nickname "the everythingist" due to not having one individual role. Our music wound up making it's way onto video games and movie soundtracks. During these years, I moved into the production and recording side of music and eventually started getting commercial jobs on the side as a professional composer/producer for TV commercials and network soundtracks. From that time up until present, I've worked on many many commercials and wound up with a list of licensing deals for various products and networks (Victoria's Secret, ESPN, MTV, etc.). DJing became a part of my repertoire during my time with the band and eventually became a weekly part-time job as well (I've even built up experience in remixing as well).
In the past few years, I became a big YouTube fan and after some time decided to migrate my music skills over to there, creating songs and soundtracks that are utilized by many YouTubers for their uploaded videos. I release these songs to iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Spotify, Rhapsody, etc, and continue to make more and more of them.
