poetry (reimagined)

Wrabel's reimagined version of his 2017 track Poetry (40 million streams to date) is a powerful and emotional rendition that could have only been realized with the writing growth he's experienced over the past 7 years. His vocals soar over the romantic verses as the song builds with the bigger-than-life chorus: And oh my, my, my / It's a big, big, big world out there / Been looking for something / I finally found it right here. Reflecting on the song, Wrabel says, “After all these years, I am so thrilled to re-release “Poetry”. The most special thing about this song to me is the number of weddings it has been used in. I have performed it as dear friends have walked down the aisle, and I’ve met so many of y’all that have used it as your first dance song – it brings the best kind of tears to my eyes. While I do believe that one should not fix what isn’t broken, I worked with Austin Ward to breathe new life into the song. It was so inspiring to reimagine it seven years later, exploring what it would sound like if I was releasing it for the first time now. I can’t wait for you to hear it.” This reimagined song is the second in a series of new recordings of some of Wrabel's top tracks, culminating in an EP in the fall of 2024.
