Bad Snacks is a producer and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Boston, MA, and is known for creating violin-infused, genre-bending electronic music. Rich with lofi and dance influences, Bad Snacks’s catalog boasts an expansive landscape featuring lush strings, driving basslines, and hard-hitting grooves. From the studio to the dancefloor, her music resonates with audiences globally and has brought her talents to renowned stages such as Red Rocks Amphitheater (Morrison, CO), El Rey (Los Angeles, CA), and The Ogden Theatre (Denver, CO) alongside artists including Anomalie and Late Night Radio. Bad Snacks’s contributions to the global beat-making community hasn’t gone unnoticed, as she has been featured on Brainfeeder's "The Hit," KCRW, NTS Radio, Dublab, and Kitsuné Musique. Additionally, she runs a successful YouTube channel (108k+ subscribers) where she posts content related to music technology and beat breakdowns. Due to her love for cutting-edge music tech, she has worked as a key demonstrator with several of the industry’s largest names like Ableton, Roland, Spectrasonics, and Moog. Additionally, she has taught as an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music for Electronic Production & Design. Her love outside of electronic music and music education expands mostly to her dog Bean. At the end of the summer, Bad Snacks conducted a remix contest, encouraging outside artists to rework her track "iiwannabe" off of her Nettwerk debut EP Home Music. With nearly 100 submissions, wongii was the winner of the challenge, providing a lush and layered reworking, a downtempo track reminiscent of Tame Impala and Jon Hopkins.
