In We Are you can hear Jonas Krummenacher on the cello. The recording session with him was very touching and it seems that his instrument completed this song in a magical way. The song was recorded in our old studio, which we had to leave one week later, so these were some of the last sounds that resonated through this place we inhabited for quite some time. I find this thought of impermanence very calming. To know that everything comes to an end. And we cannot know for sure when it ends. Everything we do, what we are and what we experience might be for the last time. We are only visitors, until we dissolve, like clouds in the sky.
