SCayos is a 19-year-old pianist, composer, and producer from India. He became passionate about music when he was 12 years old and knew he wanted to do it as his career when he was 14. He started out by DJing and primarily playing electronic music which eventually led him to produce and compose his own beats and songs. "Walkaway" is the first song we made from this record," reflects SCayos. "I made the beat in the Summer of 2020 and Annie hopped on and we finished the song in the summer of 2021. Most of this song was made remotely after the beat was made as we were on the other side of the globe! I had a friend hop in and play guitars after playing the keys and the drums, later Annie and I wrote the lyrics together, which was also my first songwriting credit at the time. For the final touch, Annie added strings and the really cool vocal reverbed outro! I'm really excited to release this one as this track showcases my growth over the past 2 years, documenting it like a journal."
