In the Summer of 2023, over a dozen instrumental producers and musicians linked for Nettwerk Music Group's and Cosmo Kuma's first official beatcamp. Taking place over three days with three hour sessions on three different floors of a rented Malibu home, the result was nearly 60 songs from 20 different artists. Some were made in a bathroom, some include vocals, some include harp. Almost all of the tracks are laid-back, soothing, chill. We'll be sharing a curated compilation of our favorite instrumentals from those generative and inspiring days last Summer, a retreat that makes us nostalgic just thinking about it. "Walk Out Music" is exactly how it sounds: a track to fill an assembly, to bring out a guest, to close the curtain and call it a night. Originally made as a 30 second loop during the Nettwerk x Cosmo Kuma beatcamp, artists Ornithology, ROHO, and juniorodeo presented it as the closing track for the final night of beatcamp. The final audio byte after everyone shared all of their music. It's only right we included it as the final track on our 16 song compilation, Beatcamp Vol. 1: Los Angeles, out now.
