All atmosphere and dark textures, the Velvet Splinters EP sees the UK's Paracusia and New Hampshire woodsman Bruno Sanchez delve deep into their film noir sound, and the result is the crafting of pure mystery, perhaps hidden in shadows or right in front of you but not visible. Early dnb and leftfield influences from celebrated nineties label Certificate 18 can be heard throughout this series of tracks. DYL finishes off this release with a well-crafted, heavier interpretation of the title track.
