We are stoked to present Berlin-based artist, Steven Shade, on Revolution Records for a killer EP titled, 'Urban Culture'. Shade packs a heavy punch and has roots in our beloved Los Angeles: 2 things we value greatly. Essentially born a raver, he spent many nights listening to techno. His trajectory just proves some people are simply born to be artists. Consisting of 3 bombs and 1 remix from Shay De Castro, this is a full-on techno feast any dance floor will revel in. 'Medusa' is a fine example of melding the traditional with modern rave sounds, delivering euphoria from beginning to end. 'Kotti' is raw, industrial, and perfectly "urban". Male vocals add to the ominous atmosphere that will get anyone moving. 'Distorted Love' featuring Cara, gives us a journey comprised of ethereal vocals and leans towards acid. Finally, we have the Shay De Castro remix of 'Medusa', giving a big room twist to an already-pristine track.
