Experimental folk artist Mree’s brand of “folktronica” draws on her influences of Bon Iver, Sigur Ros and Jonsi creating a musical bed of acoustic and electronic elements. Conjuring a “Dream Folk” sound, the music remains reverent of all her passions from the anime of Studio Ghibli and Kingdom Hearts to Final Fantasy composer Mahashi Hamauza and Shiina Ringo.
