Like his master Niccolò Castiglioni, Stefano Gervasoni emphasizes one of the Edenic traits of childhood: an openness to oneself, to the other and to the world. For him, this innocence, which occurs naturally at first, is also a goal to be reached through music. The program of this album focuses on the presence of the voice, that of Monica Bacelli, an internationally renowned Italian mezzo-soprano with a strong musical and stage personality, a noted interpreter of both Baroque and contemporary repertoire. The second “Leitmotiv” is the use of electronics which, with different modalities and technological solutions, are exploited in all three works presented on this CD in order to weave a dense dialogue between the acoustic and electronic worlds.
