Canadian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Harrison Brome's music embodies his kaleidoscopic embrace of genres such as pop, alternative, indie, R&B, and electronic, while encompassing a spectrum of emotion, ranging from loss to love and everything in between. Brome illuminates every facet of himself on the Stars at Midnight EP. “Anything I make is authentic to who I am,” he states. “With this project in particular, I have been able to let go and be myself. I’m giving people the Harrison that I haven’t been for a long time.” With the help of long-time collaborator, Pomo, the two grafted real-life experiences, moments, and memories atop a living and breathing soundscape accented by elements of indie, psychedelic rock, and R&B. As the music cycled through vibes, his voice anchored the vision. “For this record, I wanted to tie everything together with an upfront vocal,” he notes. “It’s less about cohesive storytelling and more about my delivery and what I’m projecting.
