This album was recorded in 2005 by some of today's finest Swedish folk musicians when they studied together at the College of Music in Ingesund. The theme of the album was traditional fiddle music from the vast forests between Hälsingland and Medelpad that from the 16th century became populated by the so-called "Forest Finns". Several of Sweden's foremost and most renowned tradition bearers throughout history have been active in these regions and here you will become acquainted with the music of master fiddlers such as Hultkläppen, Korp-Erik Olsson, Ante Sundin and Jöns Persson
