In the Summer of 2023, over a dozen instrumental producers and musicians linked for Nettwerk Music Group's and Cosmo Kuma's first official beatcamp. Taking place over three days with three hour sessions on three different floors of a rented Malibu home, the result was nearly 60 songs from 20 different artists. Some were made in a bathroom, some include vocals, some include harp. Almost all of the tracks are laid-back, soothing, chill. We'll be sharing a curated compilation of our favorite instrumentals from those generative and inspiring days last Summer, a retreat that makes us nostalgic just thinking about it. The final single before releasing the compilation next week, this is "Spa Day" between takeo, omniboi, Oatmello, and Joe Nora. Legend has it that when this song was being built, everyone was on their own DAW making their own version of the song. That's not to say another "Spa Day" flip is in the works, but here's a chill track to hold you over until the full compilation is out next week. Don't sleep while at the spa.
