In the Summer of 2023, over a dozen instrumental producers and musicians linked for Nettwerk Music Group's and Cosmo Kuma's first official beatcamp. Taking place over three days with three hour sessions on three different floors of a rented Malibu home, the result was nearly 60 songs from 20 different artists. Some were made in a bathroom, some include vocals, some include harp. Almost all of the tracks are laid-back, soothing, chill. We'll be sharing a curated compilation of our favorite instrumentals from those generative and inspiring days last Summer, a retreat that makes us nostalgic just thinking about it. When this song was being created, Mick Jenkins' name was being tossed around quite a bit. Not to say this is a 'Mick Jenkins type beat', but just know.
