"Simple Motion" is the title track of the new album from Eric Brace & Thomm Jutz, stellar songwriters known far and wide for their multiple projects, including their trio with the late Peter Cooper. The parallel lines of railroad tracks helped define the North American continent, moving freight and people from one place to another. And sometimes (as one great folk song reminds us), the same old train that brought you here is gonna carry you away again. Paul Simon sang that everybody loves the sound of a train in the distance. Some insomniacs might disagree.
