Season To Season

Season To Season

There's a white shell lying  On the beach beside me I'm a little frightened  To trust he waves the rush Across the endless ocean Across the deep and narrow Building like a landslide, to crush The rocks to dust Season to season I should be leaving But where'm I gonna go Only I can know I'm taking of the last layer Throw it in the corner The air is hot and heavy It rolls, behind my door I'm putting on my new boots All leather fur and fancy I'm gonna take my chances But cold hits me like a wall Season to season I should be leaving But where'm I gonna go Only I can know Season to season Keeps on repeating Changing like my clothes The blues and greys I own I'm open to the wind I'm open to the light I'm open to the days I'm open to the nights Everything will change We grow and then we die So I'm taking off these old clothes of mine
