This initial launch of Ea Akilat is all about the inner child. “Sad Boi”, the first EP, is about inner child & disappointments that drag into adulthood - and “Open” the follow up EP, is about the acceptance of other people’s inner child, & being there for someone without judgement. A love of experimentation, a classical training and formative years spent playing with Logic & Ableton have led to my sound that is in equal parts ethereal electronica, glitchy found sound & meditative gently throbbing basslines. Organic instruments inform & twist these electronic soundscapes, with both the bass guitar & my vocals adding another layer to the creative storytelling that weaves across the work.
