On December 22, the Colombian duo Ten Systems returns to the label together with Valerio Boccitto. Three originals of which one featuring the vocalist XV. The tracks have authentic grooves and synthworks, which are characteristic for the artists. On top this a great dancefloor-ready remix has been created by our Greek friends Momery. The EP starts off with the title track ‘One Rose’, which has a pleasant and hopeful atmosphere. The sophisticated use of synths is something what Ten Systems and Valerio can do best. Towards the end of the track, it gets an extra layer, making it truly memorable. ‘Astral Dimension’ goes a bit deeper. The repeating lead synth creates a lot of tension and guides you through the track, sometimes alternated by conforming elements. All together working towards a groove-changing moment. The third original ‘No Intuition’ is a collaboration with vocalist VX, in which his vocals are communicating with the lead. In this way a joined story gets told, making the track distinctive from the current melodic techno. For the final track on the EP Momery did a more dancefloor focused remix of ‘No Intuition’, but with keeping abstract elements an important part of the composition. Also, a very compelling moment has been created during the break, resulting in a tight and impactful drop.
