Producer-artist Tobias Dray is not afraid to experiment with new pop laneways and embraces up-and-coming singers to collaborate with. The Parisian moved to Toronto right before the pandemic hit to focus on his craft and take in a new setting. Dray is back with a new EP out in early July called ‘ORANGE Aura,’ which builds on his previous EP DAYDREAMER, highlighting his unique producing skills and ear for crafting pop gems. On the track “Something Went Wrong,” Dray creates a fast-paced rhythmic moving song with a repetitive melody line, channeling the likes of Justin Bieber. The pop-inspired R&B song features vocals with up-and-coming singer Yuki Dreams Again, whom Dray discovered online and quickly built a rapport with from back and forth exchanges. Yuki Dreams Again offers fresh vocals reminiscent of Frank Ocean & Travis Scott.
